Ariana is the central city of Tunisia and is located in the northeast on the Mediterranean coast. Ariana is one of the largest cities in Tunisia and the total population of the city is about 100,000.

Despite the ongoing urbanization, locals continue the tradition of keeping the greenery and growing roses in their gardens where the general activities and celebrations of the city are held.

At the same time, they preserve many delicate species of plants and trees, especially citrus fruits, olives, oranges, and roses.

Gaziantep and Ariana municipalities established the sister city relations on June 06, 2013 with the aim of improving the existing relations between the two cities and strengthen the close friendly relations between the municipalities and citizens. They implemented it with the protocol signed in the presence of Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.

ARIANA - GAZIANTEP AFFAIRS

The cities of Gaziantep and Ariana have realized common cultural and social activities. In particular, they participated with representatives and experts in the events in Gaziantep.

On the other hand, Ariana Mayor and the board participated and supported the International GastroANTEP Festival 2019.
