MOROCCO - KENITRA
Located in southern Morocco, Kenitra is a port city on the Sebou River and has a population of about 900,000.
After the Moroccan state gained full independence in 1956, the city, which was used for many years by the French as a French soldier stronghold, was renamed "Kenitra". the city of Kenitra is one of the most rapidly developing cities in Morocco in terms of production of agricultural products, fishing and zinc mines.
The city, which has achieved considerable success in the field of sports, is known as the sports city of the country.
The municipalities of Gaziantep and Kenitra officially became sister cities with the protocol signed on February 25, 2015.

Major steps have been taken between the cities of Kenitra and Gaziantep in the field of industry and trade and the heads of chambers of both countries have come together to carry out economic and commercial activities for the cities.
