ESTONI - TARTU

Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia. The population of the 38.8 square kilometer city is about 100,000.

Unlike Tallinn, Estonia's financial and political capital, Tartu stands out as an intellectual and cultural center. This city is home to the University of Tartu, the oldest and most prestigious university in the country.

Located 180 kilometers south of Tallinn, the city is also the center of South Estonia. The Emajõgi River flows through Tartu, connecting the two largest lakes in Estonia.

Gaziantep and Tartu municipalities signed the Sister City Protocol in the city of Tartu on January 31, 2014.

TARTU - GAZIANTEP RELATIONS

One of the common working points of the cities of Tartu and Gaziantep are the toy museums in both cities. Various experiences were exchanged in this activity.

Smart Urbanism, on the other hand, is the subject of another field of activity.

Both cities continue to exchange experiences with each other.
